Nevada hunters generally need hunter safety certification before hunting. Here is what to know before you take the Nevada practice test.

Minimum age / certification
No minimum age to take the course, but a hunting license requires certification starting at age 12.
Loaded firearms in vehicles
Hunters under 18 may not carry a loaded semi-automatic firearm or revolver in a vehicle; shooting game from a motor vehicle, aircraft, or helicopter is prohibited (NRS 503).
Tagging
Tags/seals are required for certain species, e.g. bobcat, under NRS 502.130.
