Minimum age / certification
Minimum age 11 for hunter education certification.
Blaze orange
200 square inches of fluorescent orange (100 front / 100 back, above the waist) plus headwear during firearm and muzzleloader deer seasons.
Loaded firearms in vehicles
State law allows a loaded firearm in a vehicle without a special permit, though KDWP recommends keeping firearms unloaded.
