Arkansas Hunter Safety Course Requirements

Hunter education rules before you start the Arkansas practice test.

Arkansas hunters generally need hunter safety certification before hunting. Here is what to know before you take the Arkansas practice test.

Minimum age / certification
No minimum age to take the hunter education course; certification is required for anyone born after 1968, and hunters under 16 may hunt without certification if supervised by a licensed adult 21 or older.

Official regulations are set by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC). Always confirm current rules there before hunting.
